Do you have a passion for working with children and helping them thrive? At Chuggers Day Nursery & Preschool in Taunton, we’re looking for a caring, creative and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team.

Why Chuggers?

We’re a family-run nursery that cares for children aged 3 months to 11 years. Our mission is simple: to create a nurturing, inspiring space where children feel happy, curious and confident to explore the world. We believe in outdoor adventures, sensory play, and plenty of laughter along the way!

What will I be doing?

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in creating magical moments every day – whether that’s planning fun activities, sparking curiosity, or helping children reach their next milestone. You’ll work closely with families and colleagues to give each child the very best start in life.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Enthusiastic, creative and full of energy
• A real team player with a sense of humour
• Keen to grow and progress in their childcare career

(Experience with EYFS is helpful, but if you’re just starting out – don’t worry! We provide full training and support.)
