Hamp Nursery and Infants school is a vibrant, nurturing setting dedicated to providing high-quality early years education. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our Nursery team; This is a fixed term contract to start in January 2025. The contract will initially run until 31 August 2026.
Hours of work are 32.08 hours per week, 8.20am – 3.15pm, term time plus INSET days.

Hamp Nursery and Infant School is rated good by Ofsted; supporting children’s development through building warm and positive relationships, with high quality play-based learning through well-resourced experiences and environments. Our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and well-presented Nursery Practitioner with a commitment to improving outcomes for our pupils to join our team.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- A sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum,
- An appropriate level 3 qualification in child-care, as well as GCSE Maths and English – Grade A – C (or equivalent).
- Motivation and flexibility, with high expectations of yourself and the pupils.
- Knowledge of supporting either social and emotional, or medical needs.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
