Chilthorne Domer Church School is a happy, thriving school in a small village just outside Yeovil, which is looking for the newest member of its school family. We are looking to recruit an:
Office Manager
- 32.5 hours per week term time plus 1 additional week
- Salary Grade 13 (Point 6 – 11 – £13.05 – £14.13 per hour)
- Required to start September 2025 with some handover time prior
What will I be doing?
We are seeking a highly organised, warm and pro-active office manager to join our close-knit community and hardworking team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our school office functions and front of house area. You will oversee a variety of administrative functions, support the overall operations of the school.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Who You Are
- An experienced office manager or administrator with strong HR and recruitment knowledge
- Exceptionally organised, detail-oriented and proactive
- Highly competent with IT systems and admin software
- A strong communicator with the ability to manage multiple relationships professionally and warmly
- Reliable, resilient and solution-focused—comfortable with the busy rhythm of school life
- Friendly, approachable and always calm under pressure
- Previous experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
