What will I be doing?
East Coker is set in an area of natural beauty and our popular rural school has a supportive and friendly community. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed OPAL and Forest School Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. This is a brand new role which involves leading the OPAL Play provision during lunchtimes, planning play provision and managing the Play Leaders and staff. This is to ensure the children have a positive fun filled lunchtime which may involve: den building, construction, art, and sand and water play. This post also includes supporting our Forest School leader on Friday afternoons in our Forest School area. Full training will be provided through OPAL play with a lead teacher supporting and dedicated planning and set up time.
