We are looking for a caring and hard-working person who we can train as PE & Sports Teaching Assistant to work at our friendly school.
- Hours: Monday to Friday 33.75 hours (38 weeks of the year)
- Salary: Grade 14
- Hourly rate: £12.65 – £13.05 (pro rata). £18,573 approx. per annum at start
- Fixed Term until August 2026 in the first instance.
- Start date: Subject to safeguarding checks
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for sport
- Can lead after school clubs
- Is a dedicated team player
- Is calm, versatile, resourceful and able to use their initiative
- Has good interpersonal skills.
- Has a flexible approach, can do attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life including supporting in class in the mornings
- Is willing to undertake training to support their role.
Good English, maths and ICT skills are essential.
