What will I be doing?
We are seeking a proactive, supportive and highly organised Parent and Family Support Advisor (PFSA) to join our dedicated team at The Castle School, Taunton. This is a vital role focused on building strong, positive relationships with families, supporting student wellbeing, and helping children overcome barriers to learning so they can thrive both socially and academically.
The PFSA will work closely with students, parents/carers, school staff, external agencies, and the wider community to provide early help support, guidance and practical interventions that are solution-focused and committed to improving outcomes for children.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for someone who has experience working with children, families or in a community-focused role that is empathetic and able to build strong relationships with a wide range of people. If you understand the challenges families may face and are skilled at offering practical, non-judgemental support, we would like to hear from you.
