  • (Monday to Friday 8.15am-3.45pm plus an hour staff meeting once a fortnight)
  • Contract term – Permanent
  • Post is term time only (38 weeks). Overtime will be paid for non-pupil days if required

What will I be doing?

We are looking to appoint an inspirational, hard-working and dedicated individual to join our nurturing and thriving pre-school. The post will be to have a leading role, working in partnership, with a skilled and passionate team to help children thrive, achieving positive life outcomes, through inspiring and creative opportunities. You need to be enthusiastic and motivational, so as a team, excellent standards of care and education are provided.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification or equivalent.
  • Have at least two years of proven experience of working effectively in a setting
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Be inspirational, dedicated and committed to creating a stimulating learning environment where children thrive and attain the best outcomes
  • Have effective communication skills and will be able to build a strong rapport with staff and families

While this is a Manager’s role the headteacher and deputy headteacher will manage staff absence and act as the DSL and DDSL. The aim of this is to allow the successful candidate to focus on high quality provision and raising attainment and standards within the setting.
