The Oak Partnership Trust is seeking a dedicated Premises Manager to join our team and play a key role in maintaining safe, clean, welcoming, and well-functioning school environments.

The role will be primarily based at West Monkton Church of England Primary School, where you will work closely with the Head Teacher and Trust Facilities Manager and play an important part in the school community. You will also provide support to other schools across the Trust , offering variety in your day-to-day work and the chance to build experience, develop your skills, and collaborate with different teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance of the school sites
  • Carry out basic repairs, maintenance tasks, and small redecorations
  • Carry out regular compliance checks and inspections
  • Maintain health & safety records, risk assessments, and compliance documentation

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

  • Has experience, or is willing to undertake training, in building maintenance
  • Has skills in general maintenance, e.g painting and basic carpentry
  • Is organised and able to prioritise workloads
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is confident using IT systems
  • Holds a full driving licence and has use of their own vehicle to travel between sites
  • Is flexible, hardworking and able to use their own initiative
  • Experience working in a school or education environment is desirable but not essential.
