Hours: 14.25 hours per week (Monday 9am – 4.15pm, Wednesday 12pm – 4.15pm and Thursday 12pm – 3.15pm) plus possibility for bank hours as required. Term-time only.
Contract type: Fixed term until 31 August 2027 (in the first instance)
Start date: 1 September 2026
What will I be doing?
Charlton Mackrell is a four class, rural primary school plus preschool with a strong Christian ethos. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a preschool practitioner role at Charlton Mackrell Church of England Primary School from September 2026.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated preschool practitioner to our friendly and successful preschool. You will be passionate about children’s learning and development and have high expectations of what children can achieve.
Ideally the successful applicant will hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification at level 2 or above, however for the right candidate with a passion for early years then training will be provided.
EarlyYears or Childcare experience is desirable.
