What will I be doing?
Are you an experienced passionate, and inspiring Primary Teacher with high expectations for children, eager to foster a dynamic curriculum and a love for reading?
Ashlands CofE Primary are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Class Teacher, with high expectations of pupil attainment, progress and behaviour to join our supportive Crewkerne team. You will also take the lead in English, continuing our vision to develop and promote a true love of reading across the school.
You will be required to have strong knowledge of the KS2 framework in particular, and be confident in all forms of the relevant assessments including Key Stage 2 SATS. You will be committed to developing the well-being and full potential of all children within a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, happy and excited to learn.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Candidates with experience of leading English would be desirable, although not essential for the right candidate as long as a love and passion for English was there to be nurtured.
There may also be the possibility of joining the Senior Leadership Team to further your leadership skills and CPD.
Due to the level of experience required, this post is not suitable for Early Career Teachers and has a salary range of MPS Point 4 to UPS Point 3.
Candidates will possess the ability to liaise effectively with staff, parents/carers and other professionals. and also support and ensure continuity of educational provision for pupils with SEND.
