What will I be doing?

Are you looking for a role where every day brings new challenges, meaningful impact, and the chance to support some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Somerset?

We’re looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Home Team— a passionate team committed to securing safe, supportive homes and tailored care packages for children in care.

In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with the rest of the team to help to ensure that all of our residential home provisions meet the highest standards set by Ofsted and other relevant legislation. You will be directly influencing the quality of life that we provide for our children and young people.

You will be collaborating with our social work teams and care providers to ensure that every child receives the best possible care. You will be part of a fast-paced environment where your communication skills and attention to detail will be vital for securing high-quality services and outcomes.

You will receive ongoing learning and development opportunities. This is a supportive, professional team that values collaboration, development and growth.

You will be visiting sites and making contact with service users and carers regularly in this role. You will be empowered to make key recommendations to providers and hold them accountable to ensure they are meeting the highest standard of care.

So, if you’re passionate about supporting children in care and you want to be part of a team that’s making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Join us in making a real difference to children – Be part of Somerset’s Home Team!
