What will I be doing?

Role summary

  1. To act as the first point of contact for visitors to the Town Council offices
  2. To provide information to visitors about the work of the Town Council, Somerset Council and other agencies signposting people to the appropriate organisation for their enquiry.
  3. To undertake general administrative tasks to support the work of the Town Council.
  4. Deal with general telephone and face-to-face enquiries and professionally, signposting enquirers to appropriate contacts or providing advice and information as appropriate to ensure that they receive a positive experience and outcome.
  5. To provide advice and guidance to visitors on Wellington and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, experience of working in a front line customer facing role and able to use Office 365 software.
