What will I be doing?

We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our team and act as the first point of contact for our Academy. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing an efficient front-of-house service to students, parents, staff, visitors and members of the wider community. You will play an important part in creating a welcoming environment, ensuring enquiries are handled effectively and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming visitors and managing sign-in, safeguarding and visitor procedures.
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate member of staff.
  • Providing a professional and helpful service to students, parents, staff and external agencies.
  • Managing deliveries, post and parcels, ensuring items are recorded and distributed appropriately.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating information on school systems.
  • Supporting general administrative tasks, including filing, correspondence and office administration.
  • Ensuring reception areas, displays and information points remain welcoming, accurate and up to date.
