Working hours: 7:30am – 8:45am – Monday to Friday

5 days per week – Term time only

Grade 15 – Point 4

Salary: £25,185 pro rata (hourly rate £13.05) pay award pending April 2026

What will I be doing?

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Club Supervisor to join our friendly team at North Newton Primary School. This is a rewarding role where you will help provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable start to the school day for our pupils. This could be on a job-share basis, if more than one candidate would be interested in this.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and supervise children attending the Breakfast Club
• Organise and lead fun, engaging activities suitable for primary-aged children
• Prepare and serve a light breakfast in line with food hygiene and safety standards
• Encourage positive behaviour and ensure the wellbeing and safety of all children
• Clear away breakfast items and activities, ensuring the area is left clean and tidy before the start of the school day
• Work collaboratively with school staff to create a positive and inclusive environment

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

• Enjoys working with children and has a warm, friendly manner
• Is reliable, punctual and organised
• Has good communication and teamwork skills
• Can use their initiative and remain calm in a busy environment
• Has an understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (training will be provided)

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. A positive attitude, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in supporting young children are most important.
