Hours of Work:

  • Morning: approximately 8:00am–9:15am
  • Afternoon: approximately 2.45-pm–4:00pm
  • Tuesdays (am & pm) Weds (pm) Thurs (pm) Friday (am & pm) or some of these if you cannot manage all the days and times.
  • Term Time only, 38 weeks.

 

What will I be doing?

We are seeking a reliable, friendly and safety‑focused Minibus Driver to drive our school owned minibus between Rode Methodist VC First School and Norton St Philip CofE VA First School, before and after school and on occasion to local sporting activities and curriculum trips.

The role includes ensuring safe collection, transport and drop‑off, carrying out basic vehicle checks, and maintaining a clean and tidy minibus.

This is a vital role within our school community. You will ensure children feel safe, calm and cared for, demonstrating kindness, respect and empathy at all times

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a Full, clean UK driving licence
  • D1 entitlement (or willingness to undertake MiDAS training)
  • Enhanced DBS check (carried out by the school)
  • Friendly manner and commitment to safeguarding pupils
