We are seeking a passionate, energetic and ambitious Minibus Driver to join our expanding team of staff at Wadham School. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our school where staff morale is high and classrooms are quiet and purposeful places where learning takes place (Ofsted 2025) We are a close-knit community secondary school of 760 students with an amazing team of staff that support each other in helping our students become the successful and confident global citizens they deserve to be. This role would suit candidates looking to work a split shift with hours at the start and end of the day, where every day is different and you can make a difference to the students and staff, as well as the wider school community

What will I be doing?

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

  • To drive a school minibus to transport students safely to and from school
  • To take responsibility for the safety, comfort and welfare of the students
  • To take responsibility for all regular safety checks and condition of the school minibus

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

You are likely to be someone who:

  • Has a full clean driving licence category D1 or category PCV
  • Has a willingness to undertake regular minibus training
  • Has 2 years driving experience and is confident in driving a minibus or similar e.g. large van
