What will I be doing?
We are seeking a highly organised School Office Administrator to join our friendly team. You will act as the public face of the school, interfacing and providing support to the Headteacher. The nature of the post is varied and requires a self-motivated, pro-active and experienced administrator who is able to manage a diverse workload with conflicting priorities. The successful candidate will oversee the smooth running of the school office including all administrative and organisational processes, whilst maintaining confidentiality. Duties will also include maintenance of the school’s Management Information System recording student and staff information in line with GDPR requirements as well as updating the school website and managing school booking systems for clubs, wraparound care provision and other events. The postholder will also be required to undertake First Aid training, if not already in possession of a valid certificate. This is a varied and busy role and will require the postholder to have sound organisation skills and be a confident communicator as liaison will include teaching and support staff, students, Governors, parents and external agencies.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess confident ICT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and data input;
- Have a positive, ‘can do’ and flexible attitude and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team; and
- Be able to effectively maintain accurate records and systems, respecting principles of confidentiality.
