St Mary’s CEVC Primary School is seeking an experienced Administrator to join our school team, reporting to the School Business Manager.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to be part of a team that supports the day-to-day running of the whole school. The successful candidate will receive a full induction and ongoing support to thrive in an environment that encourages every member of staff to be the best version of themselves.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working in a busy office, experience in a school office setting would be advantageous.
- Have excellent attention to detail, alongside strong administrative skills and up to date IT knowledge.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the school’s administration functions.
- Be able to work effectively both as part of a team, and independently, providing support to all stakeholders.
- Be able to multi-task whilst remaining calm, organised and approachable.
- Hold GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Knowledge of SIMS is desirable; including census returns, maintaining and updating pupil records, attendance and registers, assessment data entry, admissions and in-year transfers.
