Hours: 27.5hrs as an SEN LSA & 5hrs MDSA (part-time considered
Start date: 1 September 2026
Contract: Fixed-term contract (for the period that the child remains in the school)
Salary: Grade 15:3-4 £24,796 (FTE) £12.85 p/h to £25,185 (FTE) £13.05ph [Paid on a pro-rata basis – working term time only.]
Pension: Local Government pension scheme.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

Kingfisher Primary School is proud to be part of PPAT Education, and we are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will:

Have a passion for supporting the education and well-being of our wonderful children.
Have a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team.
Be willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life.
Think on their feet and use their initiative.
Be motivated, passionate and reflective about their work.
Ideally have experience of supporting pupils with Social Communication and Language difficulties, ASC & ADHD (desirable).
