31.25 hours per week, termtime only (38 weeks per year)
Hours to be worked: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.15pm

We are a Church of England first school in the heart of the busy market town of Frome in Somerset. What will I be doing?
The Headteacher and Governors seek to appoint a dynamic, motivated, resourceful and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide support to pupils with SEND needs through a mixture of 1:1 support and small group interventions.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for candidates who;
- have previous experience as a SEN Learning Support Assistant or can demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the role;
- have previous experience and/or knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with SEMH needs and/or ASD / ADHD;
- understand and show a commitment to safeguarding;
- care passionately about the wellbeing and progress of all children;
- are full of enthusiasm, warmth and energy;
- have a positive and empathetic outlook;
- can work well as part of a team;
- are well organised with good communication skills;
- will support the Christian ethos and values of the school.
