What will I be doing?
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible person to work with an individual child with SEN requirements.
Year Group : 4
You will support social, emotional and behavioural needs as well as their learning within the classroom. The role would involve delivering flexible and proactive interventions, led by the teacher to support the child and secure progress. You should have an appreciation and empathy for trauma informed behaviours and be prepared to use emotion coaching, de-escalation strategies and where necessary, positive handling techniques (you will be trained for this). Ideally the candidate would be able to deliver specific interventions over short periods (including 1:1 and small group work).
You will also be a key adult supporting a child with Diabetes and full training will be provided.
