What will I be doing?
Are you passionate about shaping the early experiences that set children up for a lifetime of learning? Do you have experience working with children? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Our small, rural, friendly school is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and help to develop our nuture group. In this role you will be working alongside other TAs and a small group of children. You will develop early communication skills, social development, and independence through creative, play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity and joy. This setting is proud of its welcoming, inclusive ethos and strong team culture, offering a wonderful place for both children and staff to grow. What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
- Have experience working as a teaching assistant with children with additi0onal needs.
- Be passionate about inclusion and meeting children’s individual needs.
- Be positive, proactive, and always solution focused.
- Have high expectations of yourself, keeping all children at the heart of your practice.
- Be a team player with a good sense of humour.
- Be willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for our pupils.
- Enjoy developing learning through play
