27.5 hours per week as an SEN LSA
Salary range: Grade 15:3-4 £12.85-£13.05 per hour
2.5 hours per week as an SEN Midday Supervisor
Salary range: Grade 16:2 £12.71 per hour
Hours to be worked Monday to Friday
Salary is paid on a pro-rata basis, term time only
Local Government Pension scheme
This is a fixed term contract for as long as the child remains at the school
To start 1st September 2026 subject to pre-employment checks
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Butleigh C of E Primary School (part of PPAT Education)
has an exciting opportunity for an SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team to ensure that the school meets its educational aims.
The ideal candidates will:
- Have experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
- Be patient, nurturing and committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.
- Have a flexible approach, adapting to the changing needs of pupils, the classroom and the wider school environment.
DBS check
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks
