What will I be doing?

Make a Difference Across Our Federation

Are you passionate about inclusive education and determined to support children with SEND to thrive?

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate SENCO to join our team from September 2025. This exciting 0.2 FTE position offers a unique opportunity to work across the eight schools within the Moorland Federation, coordinating provision for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs alongside our established SENCOs.

You will be welcomed into a supportive federation committed to child-centred practice, creative thinking and collaboration.

About the Role
  • Coordinate and support SEND provision across our eight rural primary and first schools
  • Work closely with our existing SENCOs, school leaders and wider staff teams
  • Responsibility for the completion, submission and ongoing management of EHCP applications
  • Engage families and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for pupils
  • Benefit from dedicated SENCO time and manageable caseload support
  • Based across multiple sites, with travel support available

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

  • Possess strong organisational and communication skills
  • Show creativity, innovation and resilience in their approach
  • Hold or be willing to complete the National SENCO Award (support provided)
  • Have experience supporting children aged 4–11 with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Be fully supportive of our Christian ethos, vision and values
  • Work collaboratively across schools and adapt flexibly to different settings
