What will I be doing?
About the Role:
As our Maths Lead, you will:
- Develop and deliver an innovative and engaging maths curriculum for KS3 and KS4, ensuring accessibility for all students.
- Support and inspire students with autism, PDA, trauma, and SEMH needs, adapting teaching methods to help them succeed.
- Lead and mentor teaching staff, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Shape the future of maths education within the school by implementing accredited numeracy qualifications and mapping maths across the broader curriculum.
- Champion student progress, using assessment data to personalise learning pathways.
- Engage with the wider community, collaborating with external professionals to enrich students’ learning experiences.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

- A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in special education.
- A passionate leader who believes in making maths accessible and engaging for all learners.
- Someone who can drive curriculum innovation and support a whole-school approach to numeracy.
