What will I be doing?
Are you a pro-active and reliable individual who would like to support the lives and education of young children?
Haygrove School, Bridgwater, requires a highly motivated Site Supervisor to join and lead our dedicated Site team in ensuring the smooth running of the care and upkeep of the buildings and grounds. In this key role, you will oversee the high standard operation of maintaining the premises and grounds in order to support teaching and learning, which will include security, organising and directing Site Staff, Health and Safety, porterage, and carrying out minor repairs. In addition, you will provide the Operations Manager and Trust Estates Lead with support for tendering and obtaining quotes/estimates to ensure best value. Some flexibility with hours will be required to provide assistance with school events and to support the Lettings provision and unlocking/locking up as and when required.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Ideal candidates will be excellent problem solvers with practical skills, open to new practices and ideas, and possess a positive “can-do” and resilient attitude with a calm and flexible approach; you will be self-motivated and have knowledge of health and safety and safe working practices alongside having the personable skills required to line manage the Site Team. All staff are expected to promote the safety and welfare of students in accordance with the Trust’s policies.
