Wellesley Park Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated and highly motivated SENDCo to join our committed team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who is driven by inclusion and determined to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
What will I be doing?
As SENDCo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities across the school. Working closely with senior leaders, teachers, support staff, families and external agencies, you will champion inclusive practice and ensure that pupils with SEND achieve the very best outcomes.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for:
- An excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for inclusive education.
- A qualified SENDCo or willingness to undertake the qualification.
- A compassionate and resilient leader with high expectations for all pupils.
- Has a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current SEND legislation.
- Someone committed to safeguarding, wellbeing and removing barriers to learning for all pupils.
- Has high expectations and a determination to secure the best outcomes for all pupils.
- Is resilient, reflective and solution focused.
