We are offering this role on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave from December 2024, for up to 12 months.

Two days a week, 07:30 – 17:30.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

The Willow Set is a Preschool and Wraparound Childcare setting. This post would be best suited to someone with knowledge of Early Years and experience in working within a team to support and advise colleagues. The successful candidate will ensure all practitioners in the setting understand their responsibilities to children with SEN and the setting’s approach to identifying and meeting SEN. This will also include, ensuring parents/carers are closely involved throughout, as well as liaising with professionals or agencies beyond the setting.

You will enjoy the challenge of supporting an innovative and inclusive curriculum.

You will be committed to working with children who have learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities and will be understanding of their developmental and emotional needs.

The candidate will have experience and up to date training on safeguarding and will be expected to work closely with the setting DSL. The role will involve quality assurance and the successful candidate will need experience in writing risk assessments. They will also need to be aware of the policies and procedures for the setting, including amending these as required.
