What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We want to hear from you if you are an inspirational English teacher who has a passion for seeing young people succeed. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are either an ECT looking for your first qualified teaching role or a more experienced colleague.

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

• The ability to plan and deliver inspirational lessons.
• Deep subject knowledge, and an understanding of how children learn.
• An organised approach to teaching and learning and the ability to make positive relationships with students.
• An understanding of the curriculum for Key Stage 3, and the skills to bring this to life for our pupils, building their confidence in reading in writing.
• An innovative, creative and enthusiastic approach to achieve the very best outcomes for our students.
• A passion for developing literacy skills and promoting a love of reading, writing and literature of all kinds to our pupils.
