About the job

Key information

30 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

What will I be doing?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role will be primarily based in our Reception and Key Stage 1 class, supporting our youngest learners as they begin their school journey. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work in other areas of the school when needed, so a positive and adaptable approach is essential.

As a key member of our staff team, you will work closely with the class teacher to support high-quality learning, nurture children’s development, and help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment. You will assist with learning activities, provide targeted support for individuals and small groups, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are looking for someone who has experience working with young children, ideally in a school or early years setting. The ideal candidate will be warm, patient, and committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing. They should be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, be flexible in order to support across the school when required, and demonstrate a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.

This is a role where you can make a real difference in the lives of young learners and contribute to their early education journey.
