What will I be doing?

Are you an experienced teaching assistant or an aspiring teacher looking for experience in a school setting? Do you have a passion for supporting young people’s wellbeing and helping them to achieve their potential?

We are looking for an inspirational teaching assistant to join our learning family. Our School has a dedicated and experienced team of teaching and support staff. We have strong links with the Church, local community and have extremely supportive parents.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are seeking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant who is:

  • Able to inspire children in their learning, both within a group and on a 1-1 basis
  • Qualified, or willing to train, as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA)
  • A good team player
  • Able to promote active play during lunch times
  • Committed to inclusion and able to work systematically and flexibly in a busy school
  • An excellent communicator with good presentation skills, both written and verbal

DBS check
