We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS TA to support our pre-school and reception cohort and work alongside our dedicated class teacher to provide a stable, caring, stimulating, supportive learning environment, which enables pupils to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
The core purpose of the role is to work with the class teacher to ensure all pupils are engaged in their learning and are making sustained progress, as well as promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. This will be through 1:1 and small group sessions.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
The ideal candidate will have:
- previous TA experience and a good standard of literacy and numeracy
- Relevant EYFS Level 3 qualification (preferred, but not essential)
- a commitment to supporting and understanding pupil needs
- a positive, ‘can do’ and flexible attitude and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
What is in it for me?
Our delightful children are polite, enthusiastic and hardworking and we have a welcoming family atmosphere and caring ethos based on Church School Values and Vision “Grow in the Grace and Knowledge”.
We are also a well-resourced school with plenty of hands-on learning and we offer a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and staff to flourish with a supportive community of staff, governors, parents and volunteers. In addition, as a member of our inclusive and collaborative Trust, you will also have access to opportunities for professional growth and development, a fantastic pension scheme, cycle to work scheme and retail discounts via the Blue Light Card.
