Key information

• This will be a fixed term contract till 23 July 2027
• From Grade 15 Point 3 to 4 depending on experience from £13.28ph
• 8.30am till 3.30pm to include a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
• 32.5 hours per week term time only including a daily lunch duty.
• Job shares will be considered

What will I be doing?

An exciting opportunity has come up at our small village school to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to become part of our friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will be supporting a child with additional needs.

The successful candidate will take direction from the class teacher and SENCo to provide high quality support to small groups of children and 1:1 individuals.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

Experience in either Key Stage would be beneficial.

We are looking for someone:

• Who is calm, flexible and imaginative.
• Who has experiance of working with special educational needs.
• Must be able to drive and have access to a car.
• To work as a key worker for a child with additional needs
• Has good interpersonal skills and is able to use their initiative as well as working well in a team.
• Has a good level of English, Maths and IT skills.
• We would like to hear about any intrests or hobbies that may enrich a pupils experiance in your application.
