What will I be doing?
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. Working alongside teachers and other professionals, you will provide classroom and individual support to pupils, helping them to engage in learning, develop key skills and achieve positive outcomes. The successful candidate will support pupils both in and out of the classroom, contribute to learning activities, monitor progress, encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths).
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
- A proactive, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
- The ideal candidate for this role will want to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your position within these.
