From Grade 13 Point 6 to 11 depending on experience with a starting salary at point 6 of £25,183 which pro rata will be £18,457
8.30am till 3.30pm to include a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

32.5 hours per week including a daily lunch duty.

What will I be doing?

An exciting opportunity has come up at our small village school to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to become part of our friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will be supporting a child with additional needs in Key Stage 2.

This role will be classroom-based with the successful candidate taking direction from the class teacher and SENCO to provide high quality support to small groups of children and 1:1 individuals.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are looking for someone:

  • Who is calm, flexible and imaginative.
  • To work as a key worker for a child with additional needs
  • Has good interpersonal skills and is able to use their initiative as well as working well in a team.
  • Has a good level of English, Maths and IT skills.

A willingness to undertake the following training is essential:

  • Children Protection and Prevent Training
  • First Aid Training
  • Team Teach

The successful candidate will be:
