We require a Teaching Assistant to work at Holway Park Primary School with an Early Years pupil with an EHCP.

Grade 15 point 3 £12.45-38 weeks per year (term time) plus 1 INSET day per year
33.25 hours per week -Monday to Friday-4 days-8.30am-3.30pm- 1 day 8.30am-4.15pm

What will I be doing?

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support teaching, learning and personal development with a reception pupil requiring additional needs. The post is linked to EHCP funding, so length of service is linked to pupil’s attendance in our setting.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

This role is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children, particularly with learning difficulties, and also a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in teaching to gain valuable first-hand experience. Candidates who are appointed will receive full support and training from colleagues and teachers.

The successful candidate ideally will:

• Be positive, approachable, flexible and work effectively in a team.
• Be patient and supportive of children with additional needs whilst also having high expectations for them.
• Have a good standard of English and Maths at the equivalent to GCSE Grade 5/C.
