Teaching Assistant, 26.25 hours per week, term-time only and Midday Supervisor Assistant, 5 hours per week, term-time only. This is a fixed term contract until August 2027 in the first instance. Combined hours of 31.25 hours. Pay grade dependent on experience.
What will I be doing?
We are looking for a teaching assistant to join our dedicated team as a classroom-based assistant primarily based within Early Years. In addition, this role is being combined with a MDSA role with the successful candidate responsible for supervising children during the lunch break and administering First Aid.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3
- Be passionate about inclusion and meeting children’s individual needs
- Be highly motivated, resilient and committed to securing the best possible outcomes for our children
- Have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a commitment to providing a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
- Be able to support learning through play and create engaging, child-centred learning experiences
- Be positive, proactive and always solution focused
- Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with
- Be a team player with a good sense of humour
- Be willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for our learners
- Have an up to date First Aid qualification or be willing to undergo training
- Have a commitment to their own professional development
