Teaching Assistant, 26.25 hours per week, term-time only and Midday Supervisor Assistant, 5 hours per week, term-time only. This is being offered on a fixed term contract until August 2027 in the first instance. Combined hours of 31.25 hours.

Salary

Midday supervisor grade 16.2= £12.85 per hour
Teaching Assistant grade 15.3 = £12.85 per hour

What will I be doing?

We are looking for a teaching assistant to join our dedicated team as a classroom-based assistant. In addition, this role is being combined with a MDSA role with the successful candidate responsible for supervising children during the lunch break and administering First Aid.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3
Be passionate about inclusion and meeting children’s individual needs
Be highly motivated, resilient and committed to securing the best possible outcomes for our children
Be able to support learning through play and create engaging, child-centred learning experiences
Be positive, proactive and always solution focused
Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with
Be a team player with a good sense of humour
Be willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for our learners
Have an up to date First Aid qualification or be willing to undergo training
Have a commitment to their own professional development
