What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
The successful candidate will:
- Be passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
- Have high expectations of pupils’ learning behaviour and help promote high standards
- Be comfortable working one-to-one with pupils as well as in small groups
- Have a good level of literacy, numeracy and ICT
- Ideally be able to operate as a higher-level teaching assistant as required, or a willingness to train as a higher-level teaching assistant
- Participate fully in the life of the school and be able to work as part of a team
