What will I be doing?
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at our vibrant primary school.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where all children can thrive. The role will involve supporting individuals, small groups and whole-class learning activities across the school.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with primary-aged children.
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is flexible, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
A Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification would be advantageous but is not essential, as we welcome applications from candidates with the skills, experience and enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to our school community.
