We are looking to secure a talented, creative teaching assistant who is flexible, enthusiastic and most importantly passionate about supporting our children to become independent and resilient young people. You will join a highly committed team who have diverse skills and strengths and we are seeking someone who can further extend that skill base.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Candidates will need to demonstrate or have:
- NVQ Level 2 or above is essential.
- Experience working with and supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities’
- A commitment to the school’s Christian values and ethos
- Excellent and proven classroom management skills
- Good level of English and mathematical knowledge
- A commitment to continued training and personal development
- A high level of interpersonal skills, the ability to rise to challenges and to work within diverse teams.
