What will I be doing?
We are looking for a full time teaching assistant to join our friendly team, to support teaching, learning and personal development at our school. Please refer to the job description for details about
the role.
- Work with groups of pupils – reinforcing and extending learning.
- Support social and emotional development.
- Assist the class teacher to make a highly effective learning environment.
- Work one-to-one with pupils who need additional help and support, some of whom have significant special educational needs.
- Promote good behaviour in pupils
- Be confident and willing to turn his/her hand to almost anything!
- Be professional when using the phone and liaising with parents.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- Be positive, approachable and work effectively in a team.
- Be confident in English and Mathematics
- Have GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths and Computing Skills.
