What will I be doing?

We are looking to appoint a great teaching assistant, ideally someone who has real experience of working in an effective classroom environment and is fully committed to helping children to achieve their very best. You’ll be working alongside the class teacher, helping classes achieve their best through the week.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

The successful applicant will:

  • be positive, adaptable and flexible
  • be patient and caring, whilst setting clear boundaries
  • have experience with, or knowledge of, children with ASC
  • have English and Maths to GCSE level or NVQ equivalent
  • have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • understand the importance of child protection and safeguarding
  • potentially work across the primary phase.
