Hours: 31.25 hours pw 8.30 – 3.15 with half an hour for lunch, term time only (paid for 43.51 weeks py)
Start date: September 2026
What will I be doing?
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a child with specific educational needs. The post would be full-time (term-time) and would be linked to the specific pupil. This role would suit a nurturing individual who is happy to liaise with the class teacher to personalise a child’s learning.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- Experience and understanding of pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), or a willingness to learn,
- Being prepared to deliver intimate care,
- The ability to adapt, adjust and be flexible to meet learners’ needs,
- The ability to work as part of a team,
- Strong communication and empathy skills.
