• Salary: The salary band for this role is £31,000 to £32,924 for 37 hours per week.
• Hours: 37 hours per week
• Holiday entitlement is 27 days, plus 8 Bank Holidays (pro rata for part time staff), with an additional 5 days after 5 years service (pro rata for part time staff)
• Contract: Permanent
• Start Date: TBC

Young Somerset is seeking to recruit a Team Leader in the Enterprise team to work with young people on a range of work-based learning programmes within our Bold and Brave services. The Team Leader role is key in increasing the Bold and Brave offering within Young Somerset to increase the employment and accreditation opportunities available to the young people we support.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We would love to hear from people who have experience of working with young people in a variety of settings and who have a passion in providing appropriate support to deliver outcomes for young people that impact their employability, independence, health and social skills. We are also looking to expand our accreditation offering so experience working within an education setting is beneficial to this role.

The role will be based in Taunton but the job will require county wide travel in order to provide our service to young people across the county. They may also be required to provide support at other Young Somerset enterprise venues, and to support other organisational events as appropriate.
