What will I be doing?

Young Somerset’s Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is recruiting Trainee EMHPs to deliver low-intensity CBT (LI-CBT) with children, young people and families across Somerset.

The role

• Deliver LI-CBT in schools (1:1 and groups) and promote a Whole School Approach to wellbeing
• Work in partnership with SFT CAMHS and Somerset Council’s Educational Psychology Service
• Blend of digital and face-to-face work; some countywide travel

Training

• Nationally recognised EMHP programme with University of Exeter (National Low Intensity Curriculum)
• Hybrid learning (Exeter or Bristol) with study and taught days, applying skills in practice

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

• Passionate about supporting CYP and families
• Motivated, compassionate, creative team-player
• At least 2 years’ experience working with children/young people
