UCS College Group brings together high‑performing colleges to deliver positive transformation for students and communities across Somerset and beyond. The Group is committed to providing an ambitious, inclusive curriculum underpinned by strong quality assurance, continuous improvement, and a clear focus on outcomes and destinations.

What will I be doing?

The role is an essential part of the UCS College Group Senior Management Team. The Vice Principal – Curriculum and Quality will work alongside the Group Executive Principal and Principals across the College Group to provide leadership in key areas of curriculum, standards, and quality, supporting the delivery of consistently high‑quality provision and student outcomes. Teaching, Learning and Assessment is the most important thing we do and our on-going success is built on continuous improvement.

The role will support compliance with internal governance arrangements and external regulatory requirements, while embedding a culture of high expectations, professional accountability, and improvement.

As a senior leader, the postholder will work collaboratively across colleges, supporting principals, senior leaders, and curriculum teams to strengthen progression pathways, improve the student experience, and ensure the College Group continues to respond effectively to regional skills and community needs.
