Do you currently work with young people in other settings and want to find out more about the positive impact that you could have working alongside young people in Somerset.

Are you looking for a role that allows you to collaborate with an innovative team that always goes further?

Young Somerset provides innovative and impactful education to young people. Our Alternative Education Provision (AEP) and Outdoor Learning teams are growing, and we are looking for a Vocational Tutor to join our dynamic team.

What will I be doing?

Role Overview:

As a Workshop Tutor, you will work directly with young people, teaching them valuable skills in areas such as mechanics, carpentry, upcycling, outdoor learning or construction. You will collaborate with our team to deliver engaging and practical lessons in various workshop, outdoor and community settings. This is a role that will be predominantly working directly with young people. This will involve some countywide travel.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
