- 30 hours per week – Monday to Friday (8:30am to 3:15pm)
- Term time plus one week (39 working weeks per year)
What will I be doing?
Do you enjoy supporting young people to achieve? Are you enthusiastic, proactive and positive about Education and want to make a real difference to the lives of young people?
The Postholder will work with SEND team colleagues and teaching staff to deliver personalised support programmes for students with Special or Additional Educational Needs, disabilities and/or learning difficulties, encouraging responsibility, and fair access for all. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support within the Wellbeing provision, helping students manage social or emotional challenges and develop positive coping strategies. You will help create a calm, safe environment where students feel valued and are encouraged to develop resilience, self-belief and positive behaviour, raising their aspirations through consistent guidance and encouragement.
We are seeking an empathetic and pro-active Wellbeing Assistant to work within our Wellbeing provision. At Haygrove School, we believe all children should receive an educational offer which is aspirational and inspirational, and under the guidance of the SENDCo and SEMHCo, you will support students who need extra help to engage confidently in school life, build resilience, and reach their personal and academic goals. You will play a key part in promoting our core Trust values of Community, Aspiration, Respect and Equity, ensuring every student feels included, supported, and empowered to succeed.
