Young Somerset is seeking to recruit a Wellbeing Support Practitioner to work in schools and community venues across Somerset, including early years settings, taking a leading role in co ordinating and delivering engagement work to include non-clinical groupwork. As a Wellbeing Support Practitioner, you will have experience of working with children, young people and their families and have an awareness and understanding of the factors affecting children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing. You will have excellent administration and record keeping skills to co-ordinate support and ensure a seamless journey for children and young people through all Young Somerset’s services. You will be able to communicate with and provide high quality support to professionals, parents, CYP and other organisations. This post opens the opportunity in the future, to train as a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner or Education Mental Health Practitioner (dependent on eligibility and availability).
